You belong here, Right now.
We all want to change in major ways. We want to be as thin as a sibling, a co-worker. As beautiful as the latest celebrities and as creative as the producers who make their inspiring films. We want to blaze trails as Kathrine Switzer once did and be still as Buddha.
Ambition in life is beautiful although it does have a Dark Side … All of us harbor the feelings of wanting to be like “somebody“. No outside goal, however noble, can ever make us feel complete in life. I want you to know that today, you are Somebody.
A small “thing” can and will go a long way in your adventurers this weekend. It doesn’t take an ambitious, grandiose goal to create a ripple effect in the stream of Life. Take your socks off and feel free to simply dip your big toe in. Everything is interconnected in life, be brave enough today to take the first small step. This may be ten minutes of yoga this morning or even going for a walk this evening. Immerse yourself in the wonderful effect of simple actions. Ten minutes too long? Maybe we can start by being in stillness, connected to our breath for one minute each and every morning?
Notes:
Today, you are creating a ripple effect in your life, initiating change not only in yourself, but in the stream of life we all swim in. Be well this weekend.

Life is precious as it is. All the elements for your happiness are already here. There is no need to run, strive, search or struggle. Just Be-
In today’s increasingly complex world. Each and every minute it’s becoming harder to experience the relative simplicity of the seconds of the day passing by. We will take the moral low road and blame this on the discovery of “Social Media” which we have become both liberated and enslaved by its mind-numbing power. Thanks to this we are virtually drowning in a sea of irrelevance.
Have we willingly given up our ability to think for ourselves?
The Plan-
The Workout:
A quick flowing Warm Up … A little balance beam work and jumping the old rope. Followed By:
10 Standing Broad Jumps (five out and five back)
20 Hard Style Kettle-Bell Swings (Snappy)
Five rounds sound good enough to you?
Notes-
We are going to going this topic into submission this week, oh joy! Take care today and ENJOY!!!

I dedicate every pore to what’s here-
Thanksgiving is already here and taking a page from the retail sector … Let’s skip thinking about Thanksgiving and look forward to a favorite subject of ours: New Year’s resolutions.
“This will finally be the year I lose twenty-five pounds, stop drinking on the weekends (until St Patrick’s Day … ), save some money, finish the basement, spend more quality time with the family.” Do any of these resolutions sound familiar? The arrival of the Holiday Season naturally lends itself to valiant attempts on our part at making a fresh start. The problem is that these resolutions are not so easy to achieve.
What if we told you, today – the day before Thanksgiving can be your New Year?!?
It’s time to sober up peeps, go ahead and take another self pic of yourself on the scale to post and look in the mirror instead of looking at your phone as you take another glamorous duck face pic … Do not avoid your current health in this moment, reflect on your current health. This moment is your second chance.
Our culture is obsessed with instant transformations and makeovers, hello: Turn the TV on one evening and what do you see?. What we just asked you above is not easy and making firm resolutions for genuine change is even harder. In this moment reflect and your past and commit yourself to genuine change.
What were you thinking this time last year … The vicious cycle begins anew.
The Plan-
Link of the Day: Un-Hear-It <— This is a must clicky today peeps!?!
The Workout-
Some Happy Hips and a little Balance Beam work followed by:
Hill Sprint + 15 Hard Style KB Swings (at the top)
20 is a nice harmless number.
**If you are going to beat the hell out of yourself all Holiday Season? Might as well do it in a nurturing fashion then …**
Notes:
Reflect, today is your second chance … ENJOY!!!

“We should consider every day lost on which we have not danced at least once.” – Friedrich Nietzsche
One of my favourite Bruce Lee books is “The Art of Expressing The Human Body.” That title speaks to me. When I trail run, sprint, hit the heavy bag, play Chi Sau (sticking hands), dance or play with my children – I try to lose myself in order to gain myself.
I have to keep expressing my soul through different types of movements that seem to share a common thread. I have to keep moving. It’s in my nature.
What’s in your nature?
