Thank you for reading on this lovely Friday morning, let’s cherish this moment together. Cool, that was pretty fun! Allow us to suck the joy out of your day …
How many times have you heard (or read) that the route to success in life is to follow your passion? The problem with this thinking (in our early years) is that our true passion may not become clear to us until later in our lives. Truth be told, our passions are shifting all the time: Remember your first romance? Might we suggest following your god given talent, or aptitude? Case in point: If your passion since childhood is to be a gymnast (or anything else – think broadly here), but you can’t brush and floss your teeth without falling over? Chances are then you will not become very skilled on the balance beam, sorry.
The “trick” is to find something you deeply love and are fairly good at, something that with the right amount of hard work, drive and effort you can flourish in. Basically, if you love running? Take the time to find your greatest strength … Somewhere is there lies your true passion.
The Plan-
The Workout-
Let’s take our shoes off and go for a brisk Walk … A little Balance Beam Work and some Climbing. Followed by:

54m One Arm Farmers Walk (out and back)
54m Heartbeat Walk (54 Heart – Beats, out and back)
54m Waiters Walk (One Arm out and back)
54m Piston Press (HEAVY, out and back)
54 HEAVY Goblet Squats + 54 Perfect Push Ups
**RINSE and REPEAT (if you are up to it) and feel free to mess about with the distance – reps**
Notes:
Deep breath, focus and pour our heart and soul into who WE are, right NOW … ENJOY!!!

What do you genuinely FEAR the most?
One of the best teachers we will ever have in life: Failure. Digest this next thought anyway you like, we are all adults here right? Sit back and actually read the blog posts this coming Monday. We are confident in saying that many peeps will be busy saving face, lamenting after a grueling weekend competition or struggling through whatever event they participated in. Many more will miss this prime learning opportunity to reflect on their recent failure and use what they learned to improve themselves next weekend, next time around.
Learning from a recent (<— Key Word) failure is never easy. Our culture is driven on success and this makes it especially hard to embrace failure. When we do this? We miss an opportunity for personal growth.
Don’t FEAR to FAIL. Of all the training tools we have at our disposal, FEAR is by far the best one. How else are we supposed to learn about “Life“?
… If being me is easy from where you stand
Seeing is believing from where I am
Try being me if you think you can
You think you got it easy, try being me …
The Plan-
It’s a wonderful time to head outside this weekend. Orionid Meteor Shower
Hat Tip: Earth Sky
The Workout-
A flowing Trail Run with a good friend once again (don’t forget to bring a ball …). Followed by:
Rolling Perfect Push Ups …
Hinge and Walkout to a High Push Up Position while your partner is standing behind you holding a tennis ball. Your partner will roll the ball under you while in the High Push Up Position. You, catch the ball and either toss the ball back to your partner over your shoulder. Or, rotate to a side Plank and hand them the ball. To make this more difficult: Start in a Low Plank – Just enough room for the ball to roll under you. Alternate hands and be sure to switch up with your friend. Kids, Spouses, Dogs … All work here so no excuses?!?
Notes:
Many of you reading today are Fearful of this coming weekend for many different reasons, completely natural peeps! Life presents us challenges at every turn, just not this weekend. Be well and ENJOY!!!

Be like the tiny grass that grows
In the crevices at a giant mountain’s foot,
Be like the fragrant jasmine flower
Which fills the air with perfume sweet,
Stand like a rock if destiny cruel
Showers you with hardships, big and small,
Be sweet as rock candy to people in distress,
O naive one, just be one among all.
The Plan-
The Workout-
Something new and something fun peeps so please pay attention. Otherwise your face will find itself in a heap. A bloody one at that …
A rather quick and sweat inducing Warm Up of your choosing followed by:
One Arm High Planks (Hinge-Walkout to a high plank pose)
Key points- Index fingers facing straight forward in-line and directly underneath your Shoulders. Index fingers are directly in-line with your Shoulders\Hips\Ankles. Practice this while standing! Your eyes remain neutral, facing forward. Draw your breath in through your nose and tighten your midsection as you walk out (this is critical!).
Here’s the deal hot shots- The most important bit to doing this movement initially is to practice: Index (booger picking) fingers in-line as stated above. Your Walk Out alignment must be spot on!
Play around with this for 15 minutes or so. Try Superman Style (Arm forward, thumb up), Or try our preferred style: Hand on lower back with palm facing up!?! Followed by:
Not For Time …
10 Hinge-Walkout Perfect Push Ups
10 Hard Style KB Swings (Snappy hinge peeps, these are not squats)
250 Perfect Push Ups and 250 Swings sounds just about right.
Uncle Mo says: “You’ll only fall flat on your face once peeps!“
Notes:
Redirect your attention today. Clear your mind and thoughts while trying something new, like our super-duper engaging one arm high plank. Challenge yourself in a way you never have before. And no picking out new kicks and making a play list are not challenging. Now Fantasy Football on the other hand … Have a beautiful weekend and ENJOY!!!
