Walk to the edge. Listen Hard. Practice wellness. Play with abandon. Laugh. Choose with no regret. Appreciate your friends. Continue to learn. Do what you love. Live as if this is all there is-
What is the one word that is often most overused and the least understood practicing yoga – anything? Intention.
…
Setting an intention is a mentality that demands, demands that we live in a way that prompts an “As if…” approach to living. Rather than the convenient “What if…” approach to living.
Being mindful, centers on being in the moment, putting aside attachments to past Read the rest of this entry »

When we change or let go of the negative “things” in our life? New, better and deeper connections rarely come rushing through the door …
The real dirty truth, our souls become bewildering quiet. Life starts to feel boring, discouraging and frustration seeps into every crevice of our being. It seems as though nothing is happening. However Dear Reader(s), this precious moment in our lives (which often seems to last far too long) is THE essential part during the process of change.
Something is indeed happening, we just can’t see it yet primarily do our impatience … Like a fluorescent light bulb which needs a period of dormancy as it gathers the needed energy to shine, deep changes are happening which haven’t yet manifested themselves. In my personal case, where I have ended an abusive relationship with myself (If you take pics of your sore knees or whatever after a race to post? You are in an abusive relationship with yourself), I (we) simply need time to heal.
Notes:
I often get asked why I seek out so much alone time, I simply answer with a smile: Healing and Centering. Be well this afternoon and please take care!

We witness this far too often, individuals who seek happiness outside themselves. They search endlessly for someone or something to fill the void they feel they have within themselves. Some fill this void with Facetube and Youbook. Others fill it with friends at the gym or an evening walk with a loved one (top tip gents). Being comfortable as your own best friend, truly matters the most.
We all know what tomorrow brings …
Master the relationship that matters the most in your life: The relationship with our own self. By doing so we can then gradually build strong and healthy relationships with others close to us, in a healthy manner one of understanding and awareness. Without taking the time to build a solid relationship? It really is only a matter of time before they fall apart.
Our signature Happy Hips Warmup followed by: Ardha Uttanasana then gently walk out to a solid High Push Up Plank Pose, breathe and flow back into a Downward Dag … Chill here for a moment and then carry on.
Stillness, Awareness and Comfort. Find your breath and count backwards from 300 … Gather up your “things“, we’re going for a Walk.
Starting on Monday new posts will magically appear at: CultFit.org There is no need to be alarmed, or worried. The very same hijinks that happen here daily … You get the point. There are many reasons for the move and rest assured: I will tediously beat you up side the noggin with all the mind numbing details. Take care this weekend!

When was the last time you took time away from your life? Do you find yourself so tired of managing “stress” that you find yourself wanting to hit the proverbial reset button? Do certain relationships sometimes cause you such distress that you fantasize about running away from them and never coming back?
Unfortunately, no matter where we run off to … Awaiting there, with wide open arms: Stress.
The Workout-
Crocodile Breathing + Dead Man Roll(s) = 30 Perfect Turkish Get Ups (Each arm)
Notes:
We’ll leave you with a quick thought before the weekend starts: Our resiliency develops when we’re exposed to stress (moving heavy stuff in the gym, running into the wind and reading some work by Nero and Senaca) … Each and every day and then taking the time to REST.
We’ll leave you with THIS
