If Only

There is a very little word that we often use. It has only two letters, but it is full of power for good or evil. It is the word ‘“IF”.  Do not be always fancying that IF your circumstances were different you would be different; IF only other people would be agreeable, you would; IF only you were somebody else and had their chances you would do differently;  IF this, that and the other might be, all would be well with YOU.

Those hinge press ups are a killer! gonna have to work on those 🙂 great message today, one to take note of. I am writing it down… there, just did it! 🙂 have a splendid day!

Might I suggest doing these everyday, weave them into your warm up or cool down?!? 😉 Every once in awhile while reading, I will stumble upon a very profound and moving passage. Such as today’s message. I’m glad you liked it and took the time to write it down … Like pen to paper write it down? I didn’t think people actually did that anymore. 😉

You are right — things could always be worse. I always tell people that I woke up on the right side of the dirt. I get the funniest looks but, really, doesn’t it come down to something as simple as that?

    • CultFit says:

It really is that simple! Short story time … While I was in Afghanistan dudes would complain about the littlest things, you name it. I was grateful to be alive and breathing on any given day … The cots were really harsh though, just saying 😉

I’m a big fan of saying yes to things because I always worry about the big IF. “Do you want to spar with me?” “Would you edit my book?” “Can you go grap be a tissue?” No IFs. Just YES. Then GROWTH.

    • CultFit says:

I have found training and rehabbing injuries with “yes” people is a very rewarding endeavor. Lamenting and licking wounds won’t get you very far in life. 😉

  4. That picture is awesome. I take that route to work every morning and it never fails to make me just a bit less angry at the world.

Love the Star Wars kick (less than two years to the next… Woohoo!)
