Slow, Hot and Sweaty

There is nothing better than a friend, unless it is a friend with chocolate-

We witness this far too often, individuals who seek happiness outside themselves. They search endlessly for someone or something to fill the void they feel they have within themselves. Some fill this void with Facetube and Youbook. Others fill it with friends at the gym or an evening walk with a loved one (top tip gents). Being comfortable as your own best friend, truly matters the most.

We all know what tomorrow brings …

Cultfit Tomorrow

Master the relationship that matters the most in your life:Ā The relationship with our own self. By doing so we can then gradually build strong and healthy relationships with others close to us, in a healthy manner one of understanding and awareness. Without taking the time to build a solid relationship? It really is only a matter of time before they fall apart.

The Workout-

Our signature Happy Hips Warmup followed by:Ā  Ardha Uttanasana then gently walk out to a solid High Push Up Plank Pose, breathe and flow back into a Downward Dag … Chill here for a moment and then carry on.

Stillness, Awareness and Comfort. Find your breath and count backwards from 300 … Gather up your “things“, we’re going for a Walk.

Notes:

Starting on Monday new posts will magically appear at: CultFit.orgĀ  There is no need to be alarmed, or worried. The very same hijinks that happen here daily … You get the point. There are many reasons for the move and rest assured: I will tediously beat you up side the noggin with all the mind numbing details. Take care this weekend!

Excellent title! And so true, we need to accept & be happy with OURSELVES before we can truly have relationships with others! Happy Friday šŸ™‚

    • CultFit says:

Happy Friday to you as well! Some folks get a little uncomfortable talking about the subject of befriending yourself. I could quite literally write about this to no end, I believe it really is that important. Take care and have a great weekend. šŸ™‚

I need to take your advice. I do enjoy my own company, yet I have yet to g out running by myself. I have The Fear. Not exactly sure what i’m scared of!

    • CultFit says:

Sound like we need to have a more in depth chat, either way I am so proud of all the hard work you have been doing, it does not go without notice. šŸ™‚ have a great weekend!!!

  4. I agree – the most important relationship we will ever have is the one we have with ourself. All other relationships are patterned after that one.

I talk a fair amount of rubbish over here, try not to brow beat you with advice and other non-sense although you know what? This post today is the foundation and critical to achieving whatever the heck we want to achieve in life. Can you follow yourself on Facetube?!? šŸ˜‰ Have a brilliant weekend and always remember: I’ll have a pint and a seat at the table ready anytime you want to stop over!

      • urbanbeings says:

Thank you, that means so much to me! šŸ™‚ Same goes for you, anytime you are about and want to stop by… it would be awesome!

Your bet! I started posting on the new site thingy today, I really hope you like and enjoy it. Talking about simplicity and removing distractions in our lives is tricky business nowadays. Although getting emails from peeps like yourself is never a distraction, unless I’m out on a bike ride. šŸ˜‰ Blonde hair + Emails + riding a bike = Crawling out of a hedge.
I’ll still be over hear doing my daily of reading, you can officially mark your blog-o-thing in the top 5, easily! Take care today and be well.

  6. Amazing photo. I will try to be a better friend to myself. Now, how do I do it? I guess exercise is a great way to start, and I started yoga again this week. I’ve been feeling better. I love your posts, always so positive.

    • CultFit says:

My apologies for the late reply, I was out exploring and stopped in on a few yoga classes. šŸ™‚
Yoga is a great place to start befriending yourself. The trick is finding your breath and surrendering to yourself. I hope you are having a great weekend, take care and be well.
