Going south, we watched spring
unroll like a proper novel:
forsythia, dogwood, rose;
bare trees, green lace, full shade.
By the time we arrived in Georgia
the complications were deep.
When we drove back, we read
from back to front. Maroon went wild,
went scarlet, burned once more
and then withdrew into pink,
tentative, still in bud.
I thought if only we could go on
and meet again, shy as strangers.

What to look forward to in 2013
We are going step back and strip CultFit of all its distractions, gimmicks, promotions and more. The main objective is to leave you, our Dear Reader with a pure and simple reading experience. Reading and digesting the words presented to you without any distractions.
What we feel is necessary for a simple, enjoyable reading experience:
- Pithy, socially relevant topics to help you come to peace with your body and mind
- No comments or “like” buttons to distract you from our message
- A pleasant and easily read format
- Minimal navigation, Minimal pics. Featured content for a “In and Out” experience
- A breath of fresh air amidst a sea of distractions
The “Workout” in 2013
Acquaint yourself with this lovely word:
heu·ris·tic
Notes:
Slowly and surely we will be migrating content to our new site, so all hope is not lost! CultFit will still be here tomorrow, in all its dreadful glory. Thank you once again for making CultFit what it is! Be well this New Year and ENJOY!!!

Only virtuous actions can benefit others. Therefore, I will not be attached to these ties and I will cast them away as I would a snake in my lap.
… We can still live free, while living in our current high-tech society by taking the time to simplify our lives. How? Physical and Mental De-cluttering. It does take some time to realize that our material possessions do not bring us the happiness that simple immaterial experiences do … A kiss, A hug, a nice run. By getting rid of these unnecessary “things” we allow room for new “things” to come into our lives. Taking part in a regular “spring cleaning” can help us to live every day as if it was a fresh start.
No longer will you be held back by your past…
The Plan-
The Workout:
Trial Run and Hill Sprints to get the blood flowing … Followed By:
200m Sprint (Embody the word Sprint-Cool)
20 Heavy Double Kb Front Squats (If your pretty little elbows touch your body at anytime? Start over from zero)
Eight is a pretty remarkable number to shoot for …
Notes-
Later today we are going to have a good friend over for a chat and maybe some tea. The lovely Laura Yochelson will be over to talk about her new book ” In the name of BEING WELL, I made MYSELF SICK.”
Be well this morning and ENJOY!!!
