Recent troubling developments prompt us to revisit a subject that we have discussed in the past: The Gallon of Water Dude(Chicas?  You are just as bad if not worse …) at the gym and his plan to use our weaknesses to his advantage.  But first, allow us to pose you a question: Is The Gallon of Water Dude actually concerned about any of us or does he just want to advocate fatalistic acceptance of a venal, meat-headed new world order? After reading this post, you’ll sincerely find The Gallon of Water Dude is the latter.  Many peeps who follow Gallon Water Dude’s threats have come to the erroneous conclusion that the majority of impertinent slubberdegullions workout 25 hours a day, eight days a week and thus deserve occasionally to create a world without history, without philosophy, without science, without reason—a world without beauty of any kind, without art, without literature, without culture.  The stark truth of the matter is that The Gallon of Water Dude thinks we are trying to say that censorship could benefit us all.  Wait!  We just heard something … Oh, never mind; it’s just the sound of our point zooming way over Gallon Water Dude’s head.  To reiterate the main message of this rambling Monday post, widespread emotionalism is the price we’d pay for making superultrafrostified a dirty word.

How many of us have let the moment pass?  Failed in the moment to address a problem or correct a mistake on the spot?  Maybe some d-bag cut ahead of you at the market.  What about that time we overheard a nasty comment to another?  Better yet, in the gym we keep telling ourselves to focus on proper form and movements although we never do.

To be fully present, we need not dwell on or waste time with our worries festering in our minds, our minds stuck in inaction … Could have, Should have, Would have peeps?!?

No one knows what will happen next,

25-30 Hill Sprints (90-95% Max Effort)

1-5 Warm Up, 6-10 Snappy – Dynamic (Listen to your body here), 11-15 Push, 16-20 Break through your comfort zone, 20-30 Snappy – Dynamic ( Run ’em out)

Don’t You Give Up Now

The Sage knows without traveling, Sees without looking, And achieves without ado-

When was the last time you bit your tongue and took a giant step back?  Did you overhear a discussion at the pub that was patently ridiculous?  Maybe someone left a rather rude and untimely comment on your latest blog post?  What are some other situations that you finder rather hard not to intervene and say something?

Our message today: Take to heart the knowledge of things that are in our  control and those that are not.  What happened yesterday can stay there, in the past.  And who knows what will happen tomorrow … Right?!?

High Knee Skip … for a little bit

Crossovers … for just a little bit

Butt Kick Sprint … for a spell

Thread the Needle Reverse Lunge … for a fair amount of time.

When all is said and done?  Go out and do what you enjoy the most!

Summer Thoughts In a Field of Weeds

Take a look around you this morning and please pay no attention to the wash in the corner.  Each one of you reading today is blessed with the power to start your own Salud Revolución!  Standing in queue at Trader Joe’s or Waitrose?  Walking around the local market comparing yourself to others?  Changing a dirty diaper or even getting a ride in a tow truck …  At any moment we can change how we think , speak and look at our own bodies.

Let today be the day that you don’t allow the scale in the bathroom dictate your mood for the rest of eternity.  Let today be the day while chatting with some old friends during lunch that you talk in a positive fashion about how you view your body.  Finally peeps and we cannot overstate how deeply this next thought resonates with us:  Chin up, you’re inspiring!

50 Goblet Squats (Heavy – Ish)
100m Sprint (Out and Back – Sprint in every sense of the word)
40 KB Hard Style Swings (Find a weight that feels snappy!)
30 Goblet Squats
100m Sprint
20 KB Hard Style Swings
10 Goblet Squats
100m Sprint

Feel free to mix and match the movements as you see fit.  However if you perform this program more than one time through?  The second time you start with the KB swings …

Chicks Are For Kids

Adopt the pace of nature: her secret is patience-

It’s fair to say that on any given day we spew a fair amount of rubbish at you while reading these dreadful posts.  Seriously?!?  How masculine and tough are words like: Forgiveness, Patience, Mindfulness, Meaningful and Purpose?  These timid words would be slashed to a bloody pulp during a knife fight with:  Extreme, ELITE, Warrior, Tough and OMG!

When was the last time you saw some bro wearing an Affliction-T with Purposewritten on it?!?  Like never …

The true mark of a  spouse/friend/soul mate/bro is the keen ability to see the future, beyond our present circumstance.  Each and every day we are bombarded by what is going on around us.

If only turning away and ignoring all these stimuli were so easy.  We are so immersed in the present, filled to the brim with anxiety, that we simply fail to choose our course of action.  Not only for today but for tomorrow as well.

Breaking News:  Your happiness is a choice that you make.

Peeps (even if you are in Manitoba), take a gander around you.  Not later, right now!  Let go of the world around and just “Be Yourself” in this moment (reading CultFit … JaJa pretty sad).  Sit on the edge of the tub, look in the mirror and feel this brilliant, simple moment.

30 minutes focusing on pure body control and breathing (Key Word: Patience).  Form, Flow, Grace!
