Thank you for reading on this lovely Friday morning, let’s cherish this moment together. Cool, that was pretty fun! Allow us to suck the joy out of your day …
How many times have you heard (or read) that the route to success in life is to follow your passion? The problem with this thinking (in our early years) is that our true passion may not become clear to us until later in our lives. Truth be told, our passions are shifting all the time: Remember your first romance? Might we suggest following your god given talent, or aptitude? Case in point: If your passion since childhood is to be a gymnast (or anything else – think broadly here), but you can’t brush and floss your teeth without falling over? Chances are then you will not become very skilled on the balance beam, sorry.
The “trick” is to find something you deeply love and are fairly good at, something that with the right amount of hard work, drive and effort you can flourish in. Basically, if you love running? Take the time to find your greatest strength … Somewhere is there lies your true passion.

Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or far away-
Feel free to play along at your desk … This visualization is short and sweet, we promise?!?
Hidden “Inside” all of us lies the basic fundamental keys to understanding the world.
If you are unfamiliar with “Russian Nesting Dolls,” or if you were cool before they were cool … Matryuschka Dolls. These are the wooden, eloquently detailed figurines, when opened, reveal another pristine doll, inside the doll … You guys understand how they work or you watched a lot of Sesame Street growing up.

**We are purposely skimming the surface of this topic. If you want the science behind these simple ideas? You are completely in the wrong place.**
Quick note: When our bodies hurt, we don’t feel particularly Sexy and the last thing we want is further discomfort. Not only for ourselves but for our partner as well. Few things in life are worse than having a mind that is ready to experiment and play … With a body that is frail and subject to break at any moment. So how do we overlook our pain(s) for the promise of a fun-filled evening, breakfast, second breakfast, lunch?!?
“Runner High” … We have all heard of this euphoric state and the pure pleasure many feel when they gently enter into it. Take a deep breath and revel in the comfort that you do not have to run a marathon, 5k, Mud-Run (these are pleasurable and erotic for different reasons …) or be a serious athlete to benefit from a “Runner High“. When we feel calm and blissful after a hearty laugh or many other pleasant experiences we passionately enjoy? Magical little chemicals are at work in our bodies giving us our high.
If you find yourself in a loving relationship, using the connection you have as a source of comfort will slowly melt the pain away. If you are on your own, it’s time to get creative!
What are some ways we can get creative to help melt our pains away? We’ll toss in a few to get the discussion started:
— Leave a love note on the bathroom mirror for your special someone to see in the morning (Dirty – Erotic … They all work).
— Go to a mushy movie early one evening or pull one up on Netflix (Hugh Grant, Collin Farrell), get comfy and proceed to touch and kiss passionately. Get lost in one another and forget about the horrid movie in the first place.

The Workout-

Limber up as you see fit followed by:

Side Planks for 5 Minutes

**5 Minutes is a unique amount of time to each and every one of us, some may like 10? Others 9 … **
Notes:
Never underestimate the healing power of touch (Insert cheeky message here _______) … ENJOY!!!

For most of us, running/cycling/working out (_______ Insert anything here) is a very personal space. Some would say sacred?!? This sacred space tends to be more personal than our homes, work and personal lives because we choose not to share this space with others.
When we start to unravel after having a bad weekend, the first place we are likely to show up at is back in our personal space.
One item we want to quickly highlight here is not necessarily showing discipline (going to the gym day in and day out) … It’s about paying attention. It’s about not getting distracted by the eventualities of life and the “things” that come up each and every day, but, rather: Staying mindful of the messages we receive and remaining proactive in our relationship with them.
The Plan-
The Workout-
Our retreat to the basics …
10 Perfect Pull Ups
20 Hard Style KB Swings
30m Bear Crawl/Crab Walk (15m out and 15m back)
20 Minutes sound OK to you?!?
Notes:
The mindful peeps remain clear about all “things” … All of the time, or at least we try to right?!? This is reflected in the environment we choose to surround us, it’s about discipline. Going to our sacred space to nourish our bodies and to find balance in our minds. It’s in this space where we find the discipline of loving, not the discipline of punishment.
If CultFit is a sacred place for you?!? You really need to get out more … Be well today and ENJOY!!!

My body sucks. I exercise religiously, diet, binge, read all the mind numbing blogs and magazines. Yet I still feel inferior to others (Gals and Dudes are equally guilty).
“I just wish I could stop beating myself up all the time over petty, little things … That’s it I quit! ”
Like it or not all of us React to adversity and troubling times when we should be Refocusing.
We could not possibly leave you in such a depressed state on a lovely Friday morning could we?!? What follows could be called advice, by some. Others may call our kind words unwarranted and self-righteous, either way we are all adults here and we can form our own decisions …
Are you a quitter? Do you find yourself tossing in the towel daily? Here’s the lowdown peeps: Quitters blame those around them and the world for their disappointments. YOU are not a quitter!
Less time Reacting and more time Refocusing.
