When You Knew Me When

Have you seen rift between parents and children?
They live in harmony until self-importance takes over.
What of father and what of son, when ego reigns?
Then, the relationship is blighted.

  1. Love the queso sign. Demonstrates the creative resourcefulness we all have in us. I am working towards a perfect push up…

There’s nothing quite like good tex-mex before a hot, sweaty yoga class. 😉
If you need any help on the perfect push ups please let me know, take care today!

Interesting you said ‘baking’ as that is my go to activity when I am sad. Needless to say, I spent the weekend doing it. 😦

This may be TMI and some may pull my “man” card … I enjoy baking. It’s something that grounds me and helps to refocus my thoughts. Plus, having the kiddos help out is pure quality time as a family. 🙂
We made some LvL 10 Rum Balls for the adults and LvL 0 Rum Balls for the kids. 😉
I hope you are having a great day today!?!

Subliminal messages are everywhere aren’t they. I love to cook and I have been watching some episodes of a cooking show that I’ve seen over and over again. I don’t mind though. I miss my kitchen and can’t wait until next month when I get to go home for a couple of weeks. 🙂 Cooking is therapeutic for me. I even enjoy washing the dishes, if you can believe that. 🙂

I definitely agree with you! Drifting away from society can be the perfect prescription. Happy Tuesday!

Definitely having a Happy Tuesday and I hope you are as well. 🙂
One of the main undercurrents here these past few months has been drifting away from society, being yourself and becoming closer to those around you.
Tomorrow I will share the final post about this topic … 😉
