Notes:
We can’t thank all of you enough for stopping over daily to have a look around! Have a great day today and ENJOY!!!
He forgot to include links to all the “treasures”…oops, I meant bodies that runners seem to find. I can’t count the number of articles I’ve read or heard that have started with ‘the body was discovered by an early morning jogger…’. Discovered. As if it were the new world. Runners & Hunters aka the dead body finders of the world.
Great point! Thankfully this has not happened on any runs around here of late. 😉
Does this mean you’re running again?!? 🙂
I wish! When we meet to run, I’m the dude in the back riding my bike. This time next year I should be back at it. 🙂
That’s the spirit, I’m starting to think I need to get a bike. Too many freaks around here hurting the runner girls. I run with my dog, but he’s like a giant fluffy teddy bear who’s more likely to lick an attacker to death then anything else.
In a twisted sort of way this injury has rekindled my love of riding again.
Let me know when you get closer buying/picking a bike out.
Running alone is really dangerous even if you are familiar with the area. We tend to forget at times about our personal safety and get caught up in the moment.
My husband mountain bikes and has a bike that costs more than a cheap used car
But I would love a road bike recommendation.
Utah is notorious for sickos stalking the running trails. Seriously like 5 attacks/deaths in the last year. Since I hate running on the roadways, that’s usually where I run. Not a great idea, but I don’t do early or late runs anymore and only feel comfortable with my dog in broad daylight. Lately I have been doing more treadmill runs, which I hate, but it gets the job done.
Can’t tell ya enough to be safe out there on the open road!!!
This post might not have as many likes as the other ones – or as many comments. But if my vote counts for anything, this is the most EPIC post you’ve every compiled. First…you’ve got running. Fast running. Like sprints and ish.
Then. You’ve got a nod to graffiti writing and bombing.
Then. You’ve got the coolest kid-drawing-to-stuffy website I’ve ever seen. At what point did we stop drawing and/or think we are no longer able to draw?
And then. For the finale: LIVE, DAMN YOU, LIVE.
Holy hell. What a post m’man. What a post.
This is what Rest Day Thursdays are all about! Is that Child’s Own Studio a great idea or what? Take your refrigerator art and turn it into stuffed art!
There’s a good chance I’ll be coloring something tonight with my Son when I get home from work … Right after I ride a seal and hunt a snowboarder.
I’m really glad you enjoyed this post today mate!!!
And then. I read my own post and find I spelled finale wrong. 😉
Fixed it for you. 😉
Respect.
I love the last image. Before I came to work here, I had a great job were I worked from home. When I say great, I don’t mean lots of money, I mean freedom to work when I wanted. I love it. You gotta enjoy life, because work will always be there. 🙂
Oh the 55 gallon drums are hilarious. 🙂
Driving to and from work now is my time to release the worries of the day. Like you said: “work will always be there.” 🙂
The “live” picture is so right on!
