Sunday 1 April 2012

The person, be it gentleman or lady, who has not pleasure in a good novel, must be intolerably stupid-

Reckless abandon…You only live once and today is the day to shave 10 minutes off your 5k time.  Quit bitching about the injuries and how hot it is outside, HTFU!!!  Right now, right at this very moment…There is a yoga mom kicking your ass in every imaginable way!!!

See the weak pathetic little human sitting in the bumbo.  That’s you…

The Plan-

The Workout-

Pulled from our “Favorite” webz-site on all the inter-webz…Pinterest!!!

Notes:

Go out there and kill “IT” today for the proverbial free t-shirt and race bib (well actually it’s not free…)!!!

  1. Is it me or does that little girl in the first pic look like she is holding onto a snake while it bites her in the head?

Yup!!! There’s no way to describe it…Lord knows who took it although I bet there is one hell of a story behind it!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend and April Fools Day!!!

  2. Love the novel quote…I’ve never regretted buying a book, but I have been married more than once. lol

    Be encouraged!

Excellent post, I got a big kick out of it! Already been catching up on your blog – luckily I added it to my blogroll.

LOVE the photo of the woman running on the beach. Talk about extreme inspiration. Update: thanks to your inspiration, I threw in two sets of 45-second high planks, followed by 45-second forearm planks when going through my sun salutations yesterday. Consequently I added another set of sun salutations to accommodate just my pushup stuff (i.e. triangle pushups, 1-arm lunge pushups and low hold in lunge position — elements that already existed in the routine). Found a wall (was outdoors) and interspersed finger twirl skills (baton) with four 45-second handstands. Stopped there because my wrists were beginning to say, “Whoa there!” These new additions felt fabulous and I’m eager to see what they can be built up to. …Request: You wrote me the end of last week with excellent guidance on an exercise on breathing lying flat on the belly which could aid pushups. I inadvertently deleted it (yeah, from my trash folder too) and, not remembering which day (of your posts) that you responded in, I sadly lost it. Can you help me find it? It was valuable and I was holding onto it until I had time to go through the suggestions thoroughly. Thanks either way.
