  1. I am getting you post again vis e-mail… I think it was my blonde error. Cheers!

  2. She was determined to get that basketball out of her hands.

Oh boy! What we have here is two men slapping each other in the neither regions during the Olympics. The Spain V. France game yesterday afternoon was pretty chippy!

  3. No rant from me today, as a cross country coach, I must say it is nice to have kids buy into my training ideas. This is the first time we’ve shown the kids the plan before the season, and it just seems like since they know what to expect (when they know we have a plan) they are throwing themselves at it full blast! I love coaching!

Awesome! What age group of runners are you coaching? Care to share any tips with our readers? Away from the blogy thing here I coach HS hockey and some HS athletes in off season training. Kids today seem to really thrive off knowing what is planned and expected of them in practice and training.
Stay in touch and maybe we can toss some ideas back and forth? Cheers!!!

      • Absolutely, I work with mainly high schoolers now but I do set up the training for our middle school team too. I had been doing some workout planning for my little brother, he plays JV high school hockey, but he doesn’t have the discipline yet! He’s in golf now, so probably best that I don’t over work him! I’m working with 5k training, so the key is getting a base distance in and then when it’s getting close to your race (3 weeks) start dropping the distance and upping the speed. Make sure you take it easy the week of your race so you’ll be fresh!
