Was sorry to hear it this morning. The Andy Griffith show was a childhood favorite that I still enjoy today. And the pickle episode is one of my favorite episodes of comedy television.
You made us laugh in a wholesome way, you will be missed!
I share a lot of memories growing up watching the Andy Griffith Show and later Matlock, this news caught me off guard today and I feel vulnerable. So many good times with my Grandparents enjoying a show after dinner…He will be missed!
I know what you mean. My brother and I would watch this over lunch times during summer with our mom. We introduced it to our daughter when she was young, and just recently my wife started picking up seasons of it on DVD so that we could all relive the memories as a family.
